college is just around the corner. one the following paragraph, i have set two goals as a junior. what are your goals?
S.M.A.R.T Goals
As in the years of 2015 and 2016, two S.M.A.R.T goals I want to accomplish this year are to succeed in school and get straight A’s and achieve in goals I have in mind. It might be a lot of goals but at least I’ll try to achieve some of them that are reasonable and achievable.
The first goal I have in mind is to lose weight, fat in general. The reason why I’ve been wanting to achieve this goal is because is something that has affected me my entire life. For example, when I was in elementary, I was bullied because I was fat and for the sad fact that I couldn’t keep up with the rest of the class when we did a lap. I have tried to do this in the previous years and trust me, it hasn’t been going well. I tend to lose weight and gain it back right away. Yet, regardless of my borders and struggles, I will try to accomplish it a little after 6 months, starting in the beginning of the year. Two good habits that will help me achieve this goal is being organized and turning in my work on time. (working out hard and giving it my all) With a good diet, workout and dedication I will accomplish this goal by my due date.
Last but not least, the second goal I want to achieve is to get straight A’s again. My main reason of wanting to accomplish this goal is to get accepted into a good college and make my grade reports look good. Simply, to make my parents proud. Three good habits that will help me achieve this goal are by being organized, turning in my work on time and participate in class. If I continue to do this I will reach that goal with no problems.
I have many roadblocks in life. For example, family problems, school problems due to homework and projects, job shadowing ,doing my priorities and chores and simply making the people I love and care about happy. There’s many ways I could overcome and beat this barriers. Such as, doing my homework in time, ask for help when I need it, remind myself what I have to do for the day and just keep looking for opportunities because eventually I will find one.
For many it's impossible, for some it may be fair, but for me is something that I would feel really good about myself if I accomplish it. Having in mind that if I get straight A’s again and get in shape by a little over the end of the school year would make me really happy. I will no longer have to worry about my physical look and I will have in mind that I passed the year with good grades. I know it won’t be an easy road but with dedication and hard work, I know I will get there eventually. “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”-Winston Churchill

We as humans both have advantages and disadvantages. I, for example, have the bad habit of popping gum in class. However, I have now learned when is the right time to do that. In the following, I will demonstrate my 5 good and bad habits.

My grade overall in this class is 98% which is an A. I enjoy this class ,because I have friends in here and its an easy class, as long as you do your work.
